ENMP Essay 2: Three Important Future Technologies

I’m sure that there will be many useful technologies in the future. However, I think that the three most important technologies will be cancer-detecting 'smart needles', self-driving trucks and robotic guide dogs.


The reason I think cancer-detecting 'smart needles' will be an important technology is because more and more people are suffering from cancer and it is not only the elderly, young people are suffering too. For example, get screened for cancer every few years or even when you feel uncomfortable for a long time. Therefore, I think we should made more use of this technology to slow down the occurrence of serious disease.


As for self-driving trucks I think it will be an important technology is because the world's population is growing, in addition to reducing traffic congestion, it also saves people the energy spent on commuting. For example, people can rest in the car without worrying about other things, and autonomous driving can provide safety and make car accidents less likely. For this reason, I think we should pay more attention to the development of self-driving trucks.


Finally, I think robotic guide dogs is important technology is because training the guide dogs takes some time. For getting a safer living environment to the people who is blindness, it's important to develop robotic guide dogs. For example, robotic guide dogs can lead the blind preson to the right place and safely avoid dangerous places on the way. Therefore, I think we should let technology be used in better places so that people who need to help can get friendly treats.


In conclusion,  I think future technology can make people's lives more convenient.
